Miss Edwina Gold - that means girlfriend and

Gentle stands for benign, gentle, sweet, tender, noblewoman. The Ladies wear beautiful Victorian dresses.
Charles Dickens lived from 1812 to 1870 during the Victorian era.
Queen Victoria lived in a time full of new developments, but also at a time of much poverty and misery.
Dickens is known for Oliver Twist, A Chrismas Carol and David Copperfield, among others.
Characteristic of his stories are the social abuses, the story structure, the cartoonish characters and the humour.
